Prof. Dr. Zülfikar POLAT

Prof. Dr. Zülfikar POLAT was born in 1966 in Kars. After his undergraduate education, he completed his medical education at the Gülhane Military Academy Faculty in 1999 and received the title of medical doctor. He completed his specialization in Gülhane Military Academy Faculty Internal Medicine Department between 2004-2008. Then, he completed his minor specialization training in the Department of Gastroenterology between 2003-2006.

After his specialization training, he served as an Internal Medicine specialist at the Sivas Military Hospital between 2008-2012 and at the Sivas Kızılay Medical Center in the same years, and also worked as a Gastroenterology Specialist, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Ankara GATA between 2006 and 2014. As of 2019, he received the title of Professor. He worked at Memorial Ankara Hospital and Medical Park Florya Hospital in 2014 and continues his professional studies at Başkent University Altunizade Hospital.
