What Methods Are Strictures Treated?

Strictures in the digestive tract:
Endoscopic balloon dilatation
Stent insertion (plastic or metallic)
It can be treated with surgical methods. These strictures can also occur in the esophagus, stomach entrance and exit parts or intestines.

Prof. Dr. Zülfikar POLAT was born in 1966 in Kars. After his undergraduate education, he completed his medical education at the Gülhane Military Academy Faculty in 1999 and received the title of medical doctor. He completed his specialization in Gülhane Military Academy Faculty Internal Medicine Department between 2004-2008. Then, he completed his minor specialization training in the Department of Gastroenterology between 2003-2006.

He worked at Memorial Ankara Hospital between 2014 and 2016, at Istanbul Aydın University Florya Hospital between 2016 and 2019, and at Baskent University Altunizade Hospital between 2019 and 2022, and accepts patients for his professional studies at Istanbul Bagdat Street Examination.”
